About ImpPerfect Decks

My name is Karolis Zinkus. I am a maker and an engineer. Several years ago I discovered a passion for longboarding and along with that - shaping decks

Over time I made many decks, experimenting with different materials, different shapes and molding methods. While some of them did not work out, some decks were truly amazing and were complimented by several experienced riders.

However, the main problem was that the processes I used were non-repeatable and limiting in terms of what shapes the deck could take.

Eventually I came to a method that I could easily repeat and made a mold using FDM 3D printing for a deck that was both stable enough to kick and go downhill as well as being easy to pump without the need for surf style trucks

this is a mold for making a 500 mm (19 1/2 ‘‘) wheel base asymmetric decks with a ‘‘W’’ shaped cross-section
